Very cool backpack

"I received this product as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but my thoughts/review is my own! My loves this backpack. The design is super similar to that of a computer game he likes, and it's got really fun details like a mini backpack keychain and interchangeable Velcro patches. I like that it's got ergonomic support, lots of cool compartments, and even a rain cover! My only wish is that the water bottle holder design were a bit different. The bag has zippered side compartments that should fit a water bottle. But, they compete for space with the contents in the bag so we couldn't fit my kids water bottle when his lunch bag was in his bag."

Beckmann Classic Backpack

"I was fortunate to receive the Beckmann Classic Backpack at no charge through Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest feedback. The Beckmann Classic Backpack, upon first glance, is made of very durable fabric in a shape reminiscent of a hiking pack. The gamer style graphics got my son very excited to carry this bag and the interchangeable velcro patches allowed him to make it his own. There were so many compartments to this bag including some with insulation as well as a laptop pocket. While I was able to fit quite a few things into this bag, the size is a little small for my kiddo. I recommend getting the next size up to ensure a longer use. One of my favorite features is the rain cover included in the top compartment of the bag. If the size had been a little larger I would have given the bag five stars but I do feel this bag will be a long lasting addition to my child's backpack collection."

Impressive and coveted kids backpack

"Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this backpack in exchange for my honest review, it was a perfect surprise for my son who just graduated Pre-K and is excited to start Kindergarten in the fall! We received the blue Jungle Game design in the Classic 1st-2nd grade backpack size. Both of my boys (5 and 7 years old) thought the design was super cool - we may be dealing with a bit of jealousy from the older brother and might have to upgrade him to a new bag! They love the mini backpack attachment and the interchangeable patches that have images on them. From my perspective, the backpack is a perfect size - not overwhelming and fits comfortably, but very roomy. I anticipate it should work for the first few years of school and potentially all through Elementary school. The materials feel sturdy and high quality, and the bag has a nice structure to it while still being lightweight. It's also very cool that it is made from recycled water bottles - I appreciate and support companies doing their part to reduce waste! I was a little concerned that the lack of a main zipper and the top-load design could be a challenge for a kinder aged kid, but my 5 year old had no problem opening the 2 buckles and the elastic drawstring once I showed him how to do it. I am impressed with the many clever design features and compartments, like the multiple inner pockets/sleeves, the front pocket with additional smaller compartments, and the dual zipper side pockets that will be great for water bottles, snacks or other easy-access accessories. It took me a couple minutes to figure out how to reverse the front pocket that has a holographic image on one side, or can be changed to the main bag material for a more neutral look. I was expecting it to detach from the bag but once I figured out how to flip it inside out, it was easy and such a clever detail! I also appreciate the rubber feet on the bottom of the bag and the top handle and rain fly. Just a ton of thoughtful features that make this more than your ordinary school bag! Overall we are very impressed and would definitely look into buying more from this brand."

Brilliantly thought out bag

"My sons both exclaimed with delight upon seeing this backpack a few weeks ago. Of course the big hit was the hologram block character representing their by far favorite video game. That was closely followed by the ability to change the two badges on the front of the backpack that is attached by Velcro and comes with additional options contained in a tiny cute clip on bag (my son thinks it looks like a miniature backpack attached to his larger one!) My younger son loves the extraordinary amount of pockets to contain all the treasures he likes to carry with him. The largest compartment has a big space in the middle that holds a lunch box with ease surrounded by a pocket for supplies, glasses, and extra clothes. There are also two longer, flatter pockets contained there which is perfect for folders. The front pocket is where I put my son’s snacks with two small pockets which contain his toys and a tracker. There’s two zippered pockets along the sides. We place his water bottle in one (and hooray for the zipper because in other backpacks it always flopped out as he would get off the bus!) and in the other pocket, you guessed it, more of his beloved items. It looks like today it’s collectible cards and a compass. The backpack is easy for him to open. He opened it by himself initially without my help. The top folds over and attaches by clips in the front which provides extra protection from rain. Additionally, you can cinch it on the top to further enclose items inside. If that’s not enough, the pocket on the top contains a rain cover! The back and straps are well padded. It fits perfectly on him and is cozy on his frame. It has the typical chest straps but also two extra pads that fit around his sides and clip on his lower back. The reflectors provide safety at nighttime which we have not had to utilize yet. Despite all the pockets, it is compact which works since my son is 6 and small. Lastly there’s a label inside where you can add a name, which is another good safety feature that it’s not shown on the outside. We typically buy nice, well-made, popular backpacks, but both my sons and I saw this was something special and different! This elicited the same excitement from my kids as new toys. I is This is where I typically try to include cons but I have not discovered any as of yet. Highly recommend. Really smart backpack! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this backpack."
